"Jim bought some chocolates and gave half of it to Ken. Ken bought some sweets and gave half of it to Jim. Jim ate 12 sweets and Ken ate 18 chocolates. The ratio of Jim’s sweets to chocolates became 1:7 and the ratio of Ken’s sweets to chocolates became 1:4. How many sweets did Ken buy?"
Stumped by this PSLE Maths Question?
Haha. Answer: 68.

Tennis and running related
Hi all,
When CCA during the weekdays stop (likely), anyone wanna go play tennis with me and/or go for some running at MacRitchie? I still need to keep fit yea. Just drop me an sms yea. Thanks!
Anyway, tennis videos at the bottom of my blog. Enjoy! (Everest, you may not like seeing Nadal lose....)

The Best of friends must part.... maybe not, who knows?
From next week onwards, the sec 4s are either moving to the JC side to train or just train on Saturdays for those who do not wish to continue. I really love my team as a whole and I particularly enjoy those wonderful soccer sessions and jokes with Chenglu. All the best and may we still keep in contact. Aiya shouldn't sound like the end of the world. Sorry!
Anyways, school has been rather boring, as usual. I also did not revise my work since the start of term 3 and play lots of tennis during H1N1 period (no CCA). But still think that I did well for both Maths TA and Physics Quiz. I vow to do more work, especially Geography, since I have been sucking at it of late.
That's all for now. Lots of lame assignments and projects which I do not see the point in it.
Bye!

Holidays and stuff
Ok, here to blog again after a long hiatus (spelled correctly?).
Firstly, about cross country. Training is more and more fun and I really like it. What's the best is Wednesday easy run is now fun games! We had frisbee last Wednesday instead of 40mins boring run. =) Tomorrow we will have it again. Hope to play tennis with Everest then, if possible!
This brings me to tennis. Glad that Roger Federer has finally won the elusive French Open! And since Soderling lost, Everest lost his bet to me, and he now owes me a tennis ball.
Also, my best tennis friend Will, has returned to Vietnam for good. All the best to him.
To cross country again. Leeni asked for our decisions next year, and after some dilemma, I have decided to not continue it in JC. Really dunno if it's the right decision. Then I found out that Wilby and Yanie have not made their decision. So I regret to make it so early. Cos I really love cross country. Then you may ask me why I wanted to quit. Personally, I feel that cross country is a competitive CCA and though I cherish the team-spirit, enjoy the super-feeling after a workout, I seriously doubt I can produce much result due to one reason or another in JC. One reason being JC standards are much higher.... =( Sigh. Help!!!!
And now on to f******* homework. Hate it!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone agrees right? Haha.

First month of school
Well, time flies and January is almost coming to an end. Just some comments about school:
DOWNRIGHT BORING. The lessons bore me so much, but because I sit in front, can't sleep much without getting caught. Sian.
HOMEWORK!!! AARGH! Yes there are quite a few major assignments, especially Geography and English, which I hate the most.
CHEEMISTRY. No, Chem wasn't that cheem, but it is Biology that is more cheem. And now I'm scared cos I can't even handle non-cheem stuff like Maths TA> 5/10. Got 2 marks deducted for the last part when the answer was correct and got screwed by Plim for improper corrections and she bombarded me with:"Your corrections deserve a 5/10." Or something like that. Also got scolded by Dr Chionh. She said:"Kok Leong (when it should be Kok Peng), you're very lazy" in a grandma way. Then she said: "What's your name again? I forgot." Really a grandma memory. Haha. (By the way she handed me that line because I didnt do essay but I put in effort and handed in today).
CHINESE NEW YEAR. The wonderful weekend passed to fast. Haiz.
TRAINING! Now I suppose it is the most reliable way to destress from school, though it is also tough in some ways. It is the only time I can laugh it out, especially joke-telling with Chenglu...... So looking forward to long run tomorrow. Taking a nap soon then may go swim or cycle or slack or work, depending on my mood later.

Life in school
I'm just too impatient to blog nowadays.
Well, but decided to blog because of 2 events:
No. 1
Swallowed a fish bone on Wednesday during recess. Then managed to spit it out! Omg!
No. 2
There's a race tomorrow! I hope everybody in the team does well, me too! Haha! =)
Oh, and a number 3
Chinese New Year is round the corner! This means 5 days without lessons! Yeah!
Till then.
By the way, please go to 6/10 blog and confirm your attendance about the outing. Lesson sucks.... boring.
